Promoting units without enough resources

In lower levels in can happen that someone hasn't enough steel or iron for promoting a unit because the storage capacity is to low.
Building a new warehouse is often not an option because of to less workers. Nevertheless it's possible to promote some units even without the necessary storage capacity and without using nanopods.

An example: You want to promote the Field Agent to rank 2, this needs 8575 iron. Your storage capacity is 8000 though. This is what you can do:

- make sure your iron is full (8000)
- fight a random battle and let the enemy destroy 2 units
- start healing both units in the same building, the first of them should have cheap healing costs, the second unit should be expensive (for our example it must have at least 575 iron healing costs)
- now start assisting your friends iron mines
- it's important to fill the warehouses while the first unit is still healing
- once your warehouses are filled again go to your hospital or repair bay and remove the second unit which still waits to be healed
- now you get back the healing costs, even if your storage is full

This way it's possible to have more resources than your storage capacity allows and you can promote the unit you want.

Wow, this is very useful, I never knew that trick.
Maybe you can even max out your lumber before the next boss strike with using trebuchets.

Here's an update. The trick is still working, but the handling has changed. This is what I did to promote my Plasma Tanks to rank 5. They need 24000 steel, but my storage capacity is only 21500.

1. I was full on steel (21500) and my 2 steel mills just finished 8 hours jobs.
2. In a random battle I lost one Destroyer and 2 Dexter Frags.
3. All units were put in the same repair bay, starting with the Destroyer. The Destroyer needs some iron to repair, a Dexter needs 1500 steel.
4. Now I had 18500 steel (21500 storage - 2x1500 repair cost). I collected the steel from the mills and was full on steel again.
5. I removed both Dexters from the repair queue, logged out of the game, waited some minutes and logged in again.
6. The repair costs of 3000 steel were given back now and I had 24500 steel, enough to promote my Plasma Tanks.
